Financial Times: Πότε θα επιστρέψει η τρόικα στην Αθήνα.......

Μεταξύ των θεμάτων που ταλανίζουν τις συζητήσεις σχετικά με τον τρόπο o οποίος θα δώσει ώθηση στο σχέδιο διάσωσης της Ελλάδας, βρίσκεται και το πώς οι διεθνείς πιστωτές της χώρας μπορούν να επαληθεύσουν την οικονομική και δημοσιονομική κατάσταση της, χωρίς να στείλουν παρατηρητές στην Αθήνα, πράγμα που θα μοιάζει πολύ με την επιστροφή της μισητής  "τρόικα".


Ο νέος πρωθυπουργός της χώρας, Αλέξης Τσίπρας, έχει δηλώσει ότι η τρόικα πέθανε.  Η τρόικα απαρτίζεται από την Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή, την Ευρωπαϊκή Κεντρική Τράπεζα και το Διεθνές Νομισματικό Ταμείο και για την ώρα δεν είναι πραγματικά νεκρή.  Μετονομάσθηκε ως "θεσμοί"  και συνεχίζει να αξιολογεί το πρόγραμμα μεταρρυθμίσεων της Ελλάδος και να προσυπογράψει την πρόοδο πριν την εκταμίευση οποιουδήποτε ποσού από τα εναπομείναντα 7,2 δις € του προγράμματος διάσωσης.

Αλλά η νέα Ελληνική κυβέρνηση, ανθίσταται σε οποιαδήποτε εμφάνιση των

"θεσμών" στην Αθήνα, η οποία έπρεπε να γίνει αυτή την εβδομάδα αλλά σύμφωνα με αξιωματούχους, οι Ελληνικές αρχές εμπόδισαν αυτή την επίσκεψη.  Σε επιστολή του την Πέμπτη, προς τον Jeroen Dijsselbloem, υπουργό Οικονομικών της Ολλανδίας και προέδρου τοτ Eurogroup, ο Γιάνης Βαρουφάκης πρότεινε μια ενναλακτική λύση από την κάθοδο των τεχνικών κλιμακίων στην Αθήνα, «αντ' αυτού μπορούν να συναντηθούν στις Βρυξέλλες. Ο Βαρουφάκης έγραψε:

As for the location of the technical meetings and fact finding and fact-exchange sessions, the Greek government’s view is that they ought to take place in Brussels.

Όμως ο Dijsselbleom στην απάντητική του επιστολή, την Παρασκευή, προς τον Βαρουφάκη ότι τα τεχνικά κλιμάκια υποστήριξης της διαδικασίας, πρέπει να συναντούνται στην Αθήνα.  Έγραψε ο Dijsslebloem:

I am pleased to learn that technical discussions between the Greek authorities and the institutions will resume shortly, and we have agreed that the discussions with the joint institutions will take place in Brussels. Technical work to support this process will be done on the ground in Athens jointly and together.

Dear Yanis,

I thank you for your letter, dated 5 March 2015, and for the attached document outlining in some detail seven of the reforms planned by the Greek government.

This document will be helpful in the process of specifying the first list of reform measures you submitted earlier on 23 February, which needs to be agreed with the institutions by the end of April, in line with the Eurogroup statement of 20 February. The proposals described in your letter will thus need to be further discussed with the institutions. Let me also clarify that in the course of the current review the institutions will have to take a broad view covering all policy areas and I count on your cooperation in this regard.

I am pleased to learn that technical discussions between the Greek authorities and the institutions will resume shortly, and we have agreed that the discussions with the joint institutions will take place in Brussels. Technical work to support this process will be done on the ground in Athens jointly and together.

As agreed at our last meeting on 24 February, I would encourage you to work in close coordination with the institutions with a view to achieve a speedy and successful conclusion of the review.
